Tour Cost (in USD) per person:
 

* Mongolia-only: $4150.00
** Single Supplement: $450.00
Khovsgol Extension: $600.00

* Price based on double occupancy in the hotels and multiple occupancy in the Ger camps.
** Single occupancy is available only in the hotels in Ulaanbaatar. All other lodging will be in Gers (large Mongolian nomad tents) with 4 people sharing each Ger. Ger occupancy will be 2 couples or 4 single travelers of the same gender.
*** This tour has age restrictions due to the remoteness of our observing site, the conditions of travel to get there, and lodging. The restrictions are: children under 13 and adults over 70. Adults older than 70 will be accepted on a case by case basis and will need to provide a physicians recommendation for strenuous travel.

Tour includes:
      Guides: One local English speaking guide for every 10 guests with the tour at all times. Two or three astronomer/scientist guides.
Equipment: Sirius Travel will provide at least one telescope (with solar filter) and eclipse viewing glasses for the tour.
Lectures: Astronomy lectures and general science discussions throughout the tour. Either preplanned or on request. All Sirius Travel guides are experienced travelers, educators, and scientists. They enjoy discussing a wide range of topics in addition to their areas of expertise.
Small group size: Our group size is limited, 15-35 guests, for an enjoyable and unique travel experience.
Lodging: Hotel accommodations in Ulaanbaatar. All other lodging will be in Ger camps.
Meals: All meals are provided starting from our arrival in Ulaanbaatar to our departure from Ulaanbaatar.
Chartered Flight: Included (Kharkhorin - Ulgii - Murun - UB)
Vehicles: Minivans, Jeeps

Not included:
      Items of a personal nature, passport and visa fees, gratuity to local guides, beverages not included with meals.

Deposits & Cancellations:
      To secure your space, a $700 per person reservation fee with a completed reservation form is required. A second payment of $1000 is due September 1, 2007. The final balance is due March 15, 2008.

For cancellations made before September 1, 2007, there will be a $100 per person cancellation fee. For cancellations made from September 1, 2007 – March 15, 2008, there will be a $900 per person cancellation fee. There are no refunds after March 15, 2008. Air cancellation terms are additional.

Trip cancellation/medical insurance is available and recommended. Applications will be provided to tour members with reservation booklet or initial invoice.


Insurance:
      Because the region we will be in is very remote, we require that all passengers obtain emergency evacuation insurance (www.airmed.com). Trip cancellation, health, and accident insurance is also recommended but not required. It can save you money if you are forced to cancel or alter your trip. We recommend TravelGuard trip insurance (www.travelguard.com) and we also suggest that all travelers purchase their insurance within 7 days of their initial reservation to take advantage of any pre-existing condition clause.
